Durins builders rules
2 Things must be remembered whenever playing amongs other dwarves :
-Have as much possible fun you can have;
-NEVER TRUST AN ELF
haha, just kidding, here are the rules for real :
A. Social
The following rules should be followed when using the chat, forums and other team related communication methods:
-always be nice to fellow dwarves
-Promoting or discussing religious or political views is prohibited.
-Spamming or flooding the in-game chat is prohibited.
-Posting links in the game or on the forums with adult or shocking content is forbidden (gore, pornography ...).
-Creating accounts in name of Durin's Builders to use on other forums, Facebook accounts, other social platforms, Minecraft server listings, or creating accounts that act as if they are affiliated to Durin's Builders Built Team, or registering on other services is prohibited unless you have a written permission from the founder.
-Attempts to impersonate yourself as spokesman of Durin's Builders, or as an official representative talking solely on the behalf of Durin's Builders is prohibited.
-English must be used on all public communication channels. Khuzdul is also allowed, but remember, its a secretive language, only dwarves can listen to it. Do not talk to any other race (principaly elves) in khuzdul, this can get you to be exiled (remember the Petty-Dwarves). Other languages can be used in private messages or private conversations.
-Spamming chat repeatedly with the same questions that can be answered by reading the faq, searching the forums or new player guide, will result in a ban.
-Distributing the Server's ip for non-members is not allowed.
-Adding people on the whitelist without the permission of a Leader/Steward is not allowed.
-Changing the name of stuff, editing builds, adding/removing projects or claiming stuff you did not do is not allowed.
-Saying to be a rank you are not is not allowed.
B. Game
The following rules should be followed when using our server:
-Starting your own projects is not allowed. If that happen, they will be taken as ideas. A leader must check and aprove it(or not).
-Modifying terrain, gathering materials and unauthorised building are prohibited.
-Modifications to the world must always happen under the supervision of a Build Master, Chief Builder, Steward or Leader .
-Use of third party mods that can cause adverse effects on server functions are not allowed, such as:
a. Modifications that allow users to fly. (Flymods)
b. Modifications that allow users to move faster than normal. (Speedhacks)
c. Modifications that allow access to methods to ruin our world. (Hacks)
C. Forums
Along with the social rules, the following additional rules should be followed when using the forums:
-You have to register on our forums with your in-game Minecraft name. This is the name how other people see you within multiplayer. If you dont register with your minecraft nick, a staff will change your signature to it.
-Advertising for other servers or communities on the forums is not allowed.
-if inactive(also coming online but doing nothing) for long periods of time wil get you removed from the build team *this doesnt apply if you have a valid reason for being inactive(vacation,...)
